Jacamo Store Review

As a tall guy with a longer body and shorter legs, I find shopping really tough. I buy XXL clothes for the length, sometimes for the size, but one wash later and they’re too short again. Step up Jacamo, an online clothing store aimed at large and tall men with a decent range and prices in that nice “not too cheap, not too pricey” range. But what of the overall package?

Well, after a few shops I’ve finally got the hang of the sizing, and I’m loving the longer shirts, polo shirts and hoodies. My usual choice of XXL was far too big which was quite a nice surprise, and while the length was great the chest sizing was very generous. An easy, free return later and I reordered with XL which fitted really well. Sizing is consistent too, so I can order XL now in pretty much any style on the site and pretty much guarantee it’ll be a great fit. If not, no worries. All returns are free and really easy.

With a good range and some really nice gear I’ll be using Jacamo far more in the future; it’s finally great to know that my weird body shape isn’t a problem any more, and unlike my last few items I picked up from Burton they haven’t gone strangely misshapen in the wash, so I can actually grab something from my wardrobe without worrying if the zip is wonky, or if the neck has overstretched.

The only gripe I’ve got is the stock system on the website is a bit frustrating at times. Items listed as “low stock” will often suddenly decide they’re sold out when you add them to your basket. I’m not sure if that’s a software issue or if the real stock doesn’t update often enough, but it’s frustrating when it happens.

But generally, if you’re tall, big, or just have a weird body shape, these guys are worth a look.
