The Royal Wedding Colouring Book Review

Filed under “things I never thought would happen”, The Royal Wedding Colouring Book by Adam Rushton hooks into the upcoming wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, mixes in the great pass-time of adult colouring in, and gives you a series of scenes from various films but starring our very own royal couple. It’s… unusual.

Plenty of classic movies are covered here, from When Harry Met Sally, Harry Potter and A Streetcar Named Desire (which even includes the caption “I have always relied on the kindness of gingers”), as well as some normal pictures of various other royal folk such as the Queen and the ever-popular pairing of Prince William and Kate Middleton. If you’re a fan of the royal family then you’ve got a few great fun hours ahead of you, although you might want to get a spare orange pencil with all the Harry colouring…

That said, if you’re not fussed about them then this is one of the most pointless things you’ll find. While the pictures based on films are amusing enough they won’t turn your favour towards the royals if you’re not already a fan, so this is really only for someone who’s bursting with excitement over the upcoming nuptial.

So this is an interesting and amusing idea, but it’s definitely aimed at a very specific audience.
