Pornburger Review

Like burgers? Then you owe it to yourself to get a copy of Pornburger as soon as you can. You might be thinking “it’s just a book about burgers, I can make my own burgers fine thanks” and that may well be true, but I bet they don’t look anything like those in this book. The name of the book might sound a bit crass, but it’s totally on the money. Ever heard the phrase “foodporn” on social media? This is the very definition: gorgeous photography, well presented recipes and ideas and very nicely organised too.

But don’t think that this is just burgers; bread roles, sauces, various other condiments, it’s all covered in here with ideas on how you can adapt these to spice up your own inventions, or make the recipes slightly different to suit your own tastes. And if you think that’s going to mean mixing dozens of ingredients with your meat when making the burger think again, most burgers use a standard patty which is outlined in the early sections; the main bulk of the ideas comes in how you construct the burger around that. It’s only when you actually try them you realise that your current clothes won’t stand much of a chance for long – these burgers are really good.

So if you’re the kind of person who likes to dabble in a bit of DIY burger building then Pornburger is 100% for you. You really can’t go wrong.
