Independence Day: Resurgence Review

20 years ago a hit movie was released which charted how aliens attacked Earth and Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum saved them. It was amazing. Today we have a sequel, for some reason. And it sucks.

The plot is this: aliens are attacking. Again. This time Will Smith isn’t around as he read the script, but Jeff Goldblum is as Curry’s adverts don’t pay enough. Bill Pullman does another speech but this one is lame and weird and there’s going to be a third film in the series apparently.

No summing up is really needed – it’s the exact same plot as the first one but with worse characters and actually worse in every way possible.
