The Secret Life of Pets Review

What happens when you go to work and your pets are left at home? That’s the concept from this new animated film that starts hilariously as animals will treat themselves to snacks, play videogames and just sit. And wait.

Then the story kicks in and it’s ultra generic animated animal fare about a dog looking to find its way home. It’s been done before and funnier. The ending returns to the concept but aside from about 20 minutes (or highlights in the trailer) there really isn’t that much here. Shame.
