DiRT Rally Review (PS4)

Those of you waiting for Codemaster to pull their finger out and release a proper rallying game as they did a few times in the late 90s can finally rest easy – DiRT Rally is here, and it’s great. Let’s not dodge the issue though, this is a hard game – brutal, unforgiving and difficult to master you’ll be spending as much time off the road as you will on it, and that might put some people off.

But being put off by that only means the game wasn’t suited for you anyway. This is a game for those who like a challenge, enjoy the rush of winning a stage after coming within millimetres of disaster on several occasions. It looks great, if feels great, it sounds AMAZING and there’s a decent amount to do as well.

Colin McRae Rally is back; not in name, but most definitely in spirit.
