Need for Speed Review (PS4)

As a racer, Need for Speed is great. It looks awesome, has some very tense and enjoyable races and there’s plenty of cars to buy and customise in a massive number of ways. The life-acted plot delivery isn’t great though, and having to sit through so many videos of pumped up people calling each other “dude” and “bruh” while fist-bumping each other isn’t the best way to keep a story running, but ignore than and you’ve got a racer which delivers some great action. One to avoid if you avidly hate drifting (it’s a very handy skill to use) but one to definitely look out for if you’re after a very pretty and fun racing game.
